"I think one of the main reasons is that businesses have started to recognise that attractive workplaces are beneficial in lots of ways. Not only do they create a good impression to both customers and suppliers, but they can play a big part in increasing staff productivity, retention and morale. Also, businesses are increasingly looking for guidance on which furniture to choose. Gone are the days of "anything will do". The products they buy now are more suited to a particular role or task within a company especially considering that an employees comfort and safety is more important in today's modern office."

"What would you say are going to be the big furniture trends in for 2009?"

"Office furniture has tended to be very traditional in style with limited options available but more and more businesses are looking for a contemporary, design led look and feel, as well it still being practical of course. We have a wide range of contemporary furniture on offer that can really impress. Other areas of increasing demand are hot desking for mobile sales teams, home office furniture, ergonomic seating and bistro / breakout areas."
